How to Use

Important: Do not mix Moroccan Nila Powder with water alone, as Nila is not soluble in water and will not form an effective paste.

For Face & Body Brightening (Recommended)

Mix a small amount of Nila Powder with natural yoghurt to create a smooth paste. This is one of the most popular methods for applying Nila over the entire face and body. For added nourishment, you may also add:

  • 1-2 drops of Argan Oil
  • A small amount of Rose Water

Apply evenly and leave for 10-15 minutes.

To remove: Do not splash water directly onto the skin. Instead, gently wipe away the mask using a warm, damp towel or soft cloth, then rinse any remaining residue if needed.

For Face & Body Masks

Mix Nila Powder with Ghassoul (Rhassoul) Clay to create a paste. This combination is ideal for face and body treatments; however, avoid applying around the delicate under-eye area. For extra hydration, add a few drops of Argan Oil or a splash of Rose Water.

Leave for 10-15 minutes.

To remove: Use a warm, wet towel or cloth to gently lift the mask away. Avoid applying water directly to the face before removing the treatment.

For Dark Circles & Dark Spots

Mix Nila Powder with Argan Oil or Prickly Pear Seed Oil to create a treatment paste. Apply directly to dark spots or the under-eye area and leave for 5-10 minutes.

To remove: Gently wipe away with a warm, damp cotton pad, cloth, or towel rather than washing directly with water.

Traditional Hammam Treatment

For an authentic Moroccan hammam experience, mix a small amount of Nila Powder with Beldi Soap and apply to the body. Leave for several minutes to soften the skin, then exfoliate using a Kessa Glove to remove dead skin cells and reveal smoother, brighter-looking skin. Finish by rinsing the body as normal.

Important Tips

  • Do not mix Moroccan Nila Powder with water alone.
  • For full face and body treatments, natural yoghurt is recommended.
  • For face and body masks, Ghassoul Clay is ideal, but avoid the under-eye area.
  • For dark circles and targeted dark spots, use Argan Oil or Prickly Pear Seed Oil.
  • Rose Water and a few drops of Argan Oil can be added to yoghurt or Ghassoul mixtures for extra nourishment.
  • When removing Nila treatments from the face, always use a warm, damp towel or cloth first rather than applying water directly to the skin.
